Julie's NCT Class - Baby's First Birthday Cake
These cakes were for my mate and she helped with the decorating and piping on the small cakes. The ladies in her NCT class had a get-together a year on from the births of their babies. The big cake was for the adults and I baked a small individual cake for each of the babies with their name, birth date and time piped on (brilliantly) by Julie.
Jessica's First Birthday
Another commission from Julie. Covering odd shapes is tricky but I was particularly pleased with this creation. It took time but it all seemed to come together without too much hassle.

Mum did the cheeky bears on the side which just made me burst out laughing. This was a pretty little cake.

Leo's Pirates and Princesses Party
I did 60 cupcakes all told with Pirate and princess faces which were moulded and then painted with food colouring. This was pretty time consuming. There were also Jolly Roger flags which were painted black and little gold crowns painted with gold dust. Happily they were well received by the children at the party.
Ben's Firework Cake
Well, why not have a firework cake if your birthday is on bonfire night? Sparklers in the top instead of candles for the full effect!
